Abstract

The school context and pedagogical practice are relevant agents of change to place learning in a context in which the student can put knowledge and talent at the service in the local space. This pedagogical opportunity and its scale of work manage to involve the classroom from the school and the environment in the light of the teaching methodology based on the design of school projects. This paper presents the results of a project funded by UNESCO between 2014-2015 and its impact after the implementation of social science methodologies with the purpose of addressing the inclusion of biodiversity in the chilean national curriculum and knowledge of the context Local for situated learning.
